retailsolutions, one of the leading SAP retail consulting companies with seven offices in Europe to date, is now continuing its expansion course by opening its first subsidiary office outside Europe in Cape Town, South Africa.
With the new office, the company aims to expand its international presence and increase activities in the South African market. "Our focus will be on S/4HANA transformations as well as helping South African retailers benefit from optimising promotion and replenishment challenges leveraging Machine Learning, all key topic in the retail sector," explains Managing Partner Michael Niestroy, who is responsible for retailsolutions‘ international subsidiaries. In addition, further topics such, as public cloud implementations, will also be targeted in order to offer customers a comprehensive range of innovative solutions.
As Country Manager for the South African entity Louis Stemmet, a senior SAP Retail architect with many years of experience in the retail industry, has been recruited. His personal focus is on replenishment, which he also covered in his PhD thesis. With his in-depth knowledge of the South African retail market and his comprehensive SAP expertise, Louis will play a key role in helping retailsolutions to further strengthen its position as a leading SAP Retail systems integrator as well maintenance and reseller partner.
In addition to customer development, the company will also be actively expanding its local workforce. "The plan is to set up a near-shore centre to develop customised solutions and meet the individual requirements of the South African retail market, while also providing highly skilled, cost effective resources to international projects," says Louis Stemmet.
