Zug, June 20, 2025 The Zug-based retail consulting firm retailsolutions, one of Europe's leading SAP consulting companies, has successfully completed the digital transformation of Coop Pronto's SAP ERP landscape. As part of the project, the previous, highly customised SAP environment at the market leader in the Swiss convenience, petrol station and energy market was replaced by a modern, scalable IT infrastructure based on SAP S/4HANA. The aim was to standardise the SAP application landscape, reduce custom developments and drive forward the integration of modern technologies such as SAP Integration Suite and Fiori apps. The transformation was carried out using the proven SAP transformation methodology, which is based on a hybrid approach combining SAP Activate and best practices. Agile project implementation in three-week sprints according to Scrum and structured project management with SAP Activate and Focused Build ensured transparency, planning reliability and on-time implementation. ‘The switch to S/4HANA is a strategic milestone for Coop Pronto. The standardisation and harmonisation of the IT landscape ensures easier maintenance and greater efficiency. Over 3,000 individual developments and 107 heterogeneous interfaces were reduced in favour of SAP standard functions. In addition, optimised business processes and intuitive user interfaces ensure an improved user experience. The hybrid, agile approach and close collaboration with Coop Pronto have made it possible to implement a future-proof ERP system that forms the basis for further growth and innovation. With the successful completion of the SAP S/4HANA transformation, Coop Pronto is well equipped to meet the challenges of the digital future and is setting new standards in the convenience industry.
